Call for Papers

Papers

We invite submission of abstracts for papers on any area of Germanic linguistics. Paper presentations will consist of a 20-minute talk followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion. Conference languages are English and German. Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words in length and will be peer-reviewed by the conference programme organisers. Abstracts should be submitted by 15 September 2019 via EasyChair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fgls2020.

Workshops/Thematic Panels

Four 2-hour slots in the conference programme will be reserved for thematic panels. Submission of proposals for a thematic panel should be made via email to Anna.Havinga@bristol.ac.uk by 15 July 2019 so that speakers can choose to submit either to the general programme or to one of the thematic groupings.

Invited Speaker

We are pleased that Prof. Dr Sebastian Kürschner (Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt) has accepted our invitation to be the keynote speaker at FGLS 2020.
